1.TEMPERED – Tempering is a thermal process of heating a glass close to melting point then cooling it rapidly. This causes the outer surface of the glass to cool and shrink faster than the inside of the glass wall creating a tight skin. Tempered glass is 5 times stronger and it is known as Mechanical Shock Resistance, making a cost-effective choice. Should a glass break due to an excessive blow it will break into smaller pieces than an annealed glass, making it safer to use within the hospitality industry

2. SHEER RIM - VICRILA has adopted the latest technology of cut glass that allows a pure and clean cut without edges at the mouth of the article.

This cut is obtained by a process of thermal shock called “crack-off” that allows a controlled circular fracture of the upper part of the article, giving the mouth the required fine appearance; that is why, the range of tempered sheer rim table glass called ELYTIUM lets us appreciate the main organoleptic attributes
